As a mother, Terri McCormick believes that life begins at conception. As a member of the Wisconsin Assembly, she supported legislation to ban human cloning and to ban the morning after pill from college campuses. In the latter case, people not equip to administer the drug were doing so, and it resulted in some very negative consequences for the patients. Terri believes that life is too sacred to put college students at risk with careless disregard for the value of the student and the unborn.
Terri McCormick believes that life must be embraced at its beginnings. In Congress, Terri will fight to protect every child because she believes that every human life has value. She opposes embryonic stem cell research. Fortunately, adult stem cell research is already yielding results for patients with Alzheimer’s, spinal cord injuries, and Parkinson’s Disease. She supports efforts to counsel pregnant teenagers, and believes we can improve our adoption laws. She supports the Unborn Child Pain Awareness Act and will work to strengthen parental notification laws.
